Chapter 1: Curated Highlights and Community Updates

Greetings to all passionate readers and dedicated writers! Welcome to Episode #104. I appreciate the feedback on previous editions. This installment may be shorter, but it features impactful pieces that you won't want to miss.

As we celebrate the fourth anniversary of ILLUMINATION, my ability to write and create videos has diminished due to a busy schedule that includes onboarding new writers, publishing, and managing nominations. However, our diligent editor, Mike Broadly, DHSc, has contributed a humorous piece in an Australian dialect that I think you’ll thoroughly enjoy.

Yesterday, we welcomed over 200 new writers into our community. Their introductions are included at the conclusion of my last collection (#103), so please take some time to explore their work and connect with them.

I've received exciting news from Mike: our wonderful editor, Lanu, is back! I'm thrilled that Medium has restored her account. I believe our chief, Dr. Yildiz, played a significant role in this, as he penned a heartfelt narrative that beautifully outlines the history of ILLUMINATION.

It’s shocking to see scammers go so far as to clone the profile of Medium’s renowned director, Buster Benson. These individuals are increasingly creative in their deceptive tactics. Mike has written a brief story urging the community to stay alert, while Marcus, known as Gregory Maidman, crafted a witty poem addressing this bizarre cloning phenomenon that brought us a few laughs, despite the seriousness of the situation. I too have faced cloning attempts, which were unsettling.

Last week, I compiled a selection of boosted stories, totaling 21 new entries. I plan to create another compilation soon, as we continue to see more stories gain traction. My commitments to work, publishing, and family have kept me quite busy.

Gamers have been reaching out to me on Discord and Slack with questions about how the boosting system works at ILLUMINATION-Gaming. To address these inquiries, I created a brief YouTube video, which is included in a story with transcripts for those unable to watch. I hope this clarifies the essential aspects of boosting.

Recently, I shared my predictions for the 2024 Academy Awards and followed up with a piece detailing the winners. I look forward to your thoughts on that!
