Recently, in Naples, Italy, where I currently live, I indulged in my favorite pastime — using a powerful microscope to uncover the astonishing beauty of nature. This time, I chose a small cherry tomato, a delightful fruit synonymous with the Mediterranean cuisine of my Campania roots. Little did I anticipate that this seemingly ordinary tomato would spark a profound journey, intertwining science, philosophy, and spirituality.
