He remarked, “The devil has been in our way throughout this process. We’ve faced obstacles from those within the intelligence community and the Pentagon.” Burchett, a strong proponent for UFO investigations, cited a specific instance where he attempted to introduce an amendment to the FAA that would have mandated the reporting of UFO sightings by commercial pilots to Congress. Unfortunately, this proposal never progressed.

While it's possible that commercial pilots have indeed reported UFO sightings, it does not necessarily imply that these sightings are extraterrestrial in origin. Have you ever considered how far the nearest planet capable of supporting life is located?

According to available astronomical data, we are incredibly distant from any potential civilization. Given the universe's age, our existence must align with that of any hypothetical extraterrestrial beings. If such life forms could traverse those immense distances, would they even desire to engage with us? What could we possibly offer them? It’s unlikely they would view us as anything more than a curiosity, if that. The idea of them wanting to interbreed with us seems far-fetched; after all, would we consider mixing with bonobos or orangutans? The notion is absurd.

Thus, the conclusion is clear: both the vast distances involved and the potential lack of interest from any extraterrestrial civilizations render the idea of alien encounters highly improbable.
